More to Read

Today is a quiet overcast, windy day, nothing much to do other than housework and play with the kids. It has been a trying night with my youngest that is unwell with a high temperature, blocked / runny nose and chesty cough. So staying up late reading has been the latest necessity while waiting for the young one to fall back asleep and I've started a new book to read but I've realised that 3 books come before it so I've stopped reading Untamed By P.C. and Kristin Cast.

I'm looking for some good books to read. If you have any suggestions let me know some of your favourites. I find it difficult to get into Crime, Spy, War, History, Murder Mysteries. I know I'm rathering boring in that sense. I've always been into vampire / supernatural but not heavy horror that scares the pants off you. Mild - Medium horror is ok. I don't mind romance or a blend of a few genres.

  1. Hiya Lea! Thanks for stopping by, your blog is beautiful. Good luck with your writing, sounds like you are the right track. Regarding reading, have you tried the vampire academy series, or any book from Richelle Mead.

  2. Like ParaJunkee, I'd recommend the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. Also, if you like urban fantasy, The Mortal Instruments series (starting with City of Bones) by Cassandra Clare is really good. If you're looking for more classical reads, the Historian by Elizabeth Kostova and (obviously)Dracula by Bram Stoker are good vampire books.

    Great blog by the way!
